Job Description

If you are a dedicated and creative experienced social worker or existing Team manager looking to make a difference, develop your career and improve the lives of children and young people, then Lincolnshire Children Services should be your next destination.The pay would be up to £45 per hour based on your location and this may be negotiable.Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To lead, manage and direct the Court Services & Safeguarding Team of qualified social workers and family support workers.
  • To work closely with Service Managers to define operational delivery plans that ensure the efficient use of resources and with the wider management team to contribute to the continued development of the service.
  • To work collaboratively with other Team Managers to manage the case allocation to Assistant Team Managers, who will then allocate to social workers within their teams.
  • To be responsible for translating the wider service objectives and targets into team deliverables and individual objectives and targets for Assistant Team Managers and then monitoring and managing these objectives.
  • To be accountable for the quality and effectiveness of your team’s performance as measured by national and local performance indicators.
Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.As the ideal candidate, you will be:
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Have experience in working as Team Manager or minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified Social Worker in Children services
  • Able to drive car and have a UK Driving License
