Job Description

Seven Social Care is working with North East Lincolnshire Council to recruit a qualified Social Worker for their Child Assess and Safeguarding Service. Experience of working with complex cases is desirable. The pay rates are between £31.78 to £40.00 perhour.You will work with a supportive and collaborative team of colleagues including social workers, team managers, IROs, LAC health and family support workers. NELC has recently been acknowledged as the fastest improving Childrens Services Team in the country,securing highly skilled, permanent senior managers.Duties:Work from the office for 2/ 3 days a week, with some flexibility if neededIndependently manage a caseload of complex casesEnsure that appropriate resources are deployed to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and their familiesWork in partnerships with other agencies to ensure individuals and families receive coordinated responses and serviceStatutory duties relating to children in care and attending meetingsDeveloping and progressing care and pathways plansApplicant Requirements:Qualifications:Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Experience: 2+ years working with children as a qualified Social Worker in the UK.Compliance: DBS.Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.Hours: 37hours p/w.Working with Seven Social Care: We have been helping social care professionals find exciting new roles for almost a decade, so we know exactly where to look when it comes to sourcing the best opportunities.
