Job Description

Lead Project Manufacturing Engineer 48-55K in Clevedon nr Bristol My client in Clevedon are looking to recruit a Lead Project Manufacturing Engineer to lead, manage and coordinate all the Project Manufacturing Engineers in delivering manufacturing solutions for products and platforms through various channels (The successfulcandidate will be reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Manager.You will be responsible for;

  • Management and planning of Project Manufacturing Engineers activities to ensure capable capacity is maintained ensuring efficient workload
  • Update and continuous improvement of Project Manufacturing Engineers tracker to ensure resource is focused and controlled.
  • To create and publish plans to achieve targets and to provide solutions when plans cannot be achieved plus implement and maintain suitable metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of Project Manufacturing Engineers team for management.
  • Provide Leadership, guidance, support and encouragement of the Project Manufacturing Engineers, cultivating and maintaining a working environment to promote a positive working ethos.
  • Provide technical review and approval of Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) documents to supplement/support PCP projects to ensure compliance and alignment with current strategies
  • Ensure that production risk is eliminated by the embedding of risk management methodologies within the Manufacturing Readiness Review and your own team of Project Engineers.
  • You will have financial accountability for PME project expenditure (approval and review) and participate in project team meetings senior reviews (Support recruitment activities within the manufacturing systems group
  • Continuous Improvement of the Manufacturing System through contributions within Team meeting
