Whether yourenew to careor experienced, joining our team at Lancaster Gardens will give you the opportunity to make a significant difference in extra-ordinary peoples lives.We are a large residential property which has been recently renovated we house 8 self-contained supported living apartments, each with all the facilities of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and lounge/dining area, with on-site supportfor adults with autism, learning disabilities, and/or complex needs.The self-contained style of each apartment allows us to offer bespoke support for each person living here, including individuals with complex needs or those who are unable to share accommodation.When you join our team as a Support Worker you will become part of team that is dedicated to provide the best specialist support and ensure people live happy and healthy lives, which we Achieve Together.Location:Clacton on Sea- CO15Full timePay rate £10.00You will be working as part of a friendly team, supporting vulnerable adults with a range of mental health and learning disabilities. As a Senior Support Worker you will be expected to lead shifts and assist with coaching and inducting of new staff to theservice. You will also be required to participate in the on call rota. You will write daily reports on activities, as well as devising and updating care plans and undertaking risk assessments for the people we support. You will play a vital part in providingthe people we support with care and be able to profoundly improve their quality of life, assisting people who are unable to live independently by offering them the practical help they need, as well as emotional support.This may include:
