We are currently seeking a permanent physiotherapist, to work in our community hospitals.The post is for a Band 5 developmental role to a band 6 or for a band 6 role dependent on experience.The post will be based within the community hospitals that cover two sites at Clacton and Harwich. The role is placed on our general medical wards which include patients recovering from general surgery, Orthopeadic surgery, respiratory conditions and palliative patients over our two sites.Anglian Community Enterprise is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated physiotherapist to join our team of band 6s and technical instructors. You will be a key member of our dynamic integrated rehabilitation team, providing a skilled and responsive therapy service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and team skills to enhance MDT working. You will be able to work autonomously.Post graduate experience covering core areas is essential. The post would suit a physiotherapist looking to further their career in rehabilitation, and develop their leadership skills. The successful candidate will have support from their peers and can receive more enhanced clinical support from more senior therapists within ACE. You will be involved in the supervision, appraisal and clinical development of the Technical instructors, as well as the support of the ward nurses and HCAs.The candidate will participate in service development and initiatives and MDT projects, with support for CPD activities.Service provision is seven days and the role includes participation of a weekend rota.The position is currently based at Clacton Hospital site however; there are exciting plans to redesign our bed provision solely on our Harwich site to provide a modern and gold standard environment.If you are a dynamic, skilled and compassionate physiotherapist, keen to develop your skills in rehabilitation, and gain leadership opportunity please contact Charlotte Sparling, charlotte.sparling@acecic.nhs.uk for more information.ACE is commissioned to provide a number of services including Community based health services (Care Closer to Home). We have been advised by North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group that this contract will be provided by another organisation after 30th June 2021. This is not as a reflection of ACE but due to the Commissioner wanting to make changes to the way the service is delivered. At the present time we don’t know who the new provider will be but the CCG is working to determine this by the end of 2020.
