My client is seeking an experienced Production Test Technician to join their growing team, on a permanent basis. The department is responsible for testing products straight from the production line, and ensuring that the products operate as expected.Reporting into the Production Test Team Leader, you will be required to test and record test data on a range of products and assemblies eg programmable switching products, high voltage, RF, and instrumentation. You will also maintain test records and resultsin accordance with ISO9001 and internal procedures. ATE test programs will also need to be set up for new products which would be your responsibility.The ideal applicant for this position will possess a qualification in an Engineering discipline ideally with a high electronic content or experience in a similar role. You will also have a passion for Electronics / Engineering and be well organised and disciplined.We are seeking someone who is able to work in a pressurised environment with excellent communication skills. It is appreciated that you may not have all of the desired skills but a willingness to learn will go a long way, as will be the ability to be a teamplayer with excellent communication skills.This is a permanent, full time position working Monday to Friday. The working hours will 8-4 / 9-5.
