ACE provides a range of Respiratory Services (Pulmonary Rehabilitation/COPD/Home Oxygen) which are delivered by specialist clinicians working as a Hosted Service within Tendring ICT. We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual, to join our team. You will be an individual with demonstrable interest in respiratory disease management, supporting patients to become experts in their own care.This post will support patient reviews and self-management advice with specific reference to inhaler technique, breathing exercises, pulmonary rehabilitation, disease management and optimisation as well as general health & well-being advice.The post holder will support the registered clinicians within Respiratory Service. There will be opportunities to contribute to the clinical caseload management in all respiratory service areas. Full training and support will be provided to ensure optimum staff performance and service delivery.You will be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships with patients, helping to support and motivate them. You will be a committed team worker, supporting the delivery of care.Anglian Community Enterprise is committed to offering the people of North East Essex an integrated and seamless network of patient-centred services based, wherever possible, closer to where they live and in their communities. As a result you will need to be flexible and able to work at various sites across Tendring and Colchester in line with service requirements. As this post will cover community and clinics ability to drive and access to a vehicle are essential.We offer a well-established supervision and appraisal structure and we have a firm commitment to CPD, evidence based practice, undergraduate and postgraduate education. We have been advised by North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group that this contract will be provided by another organisation after 30th June 2021. This is not as a reflection of ACE but due to the Commissioner wanting to make changes to the way the service is delivered. At the present time we don’t know who the new provider will be but the CCG is working to determine this by the end of 2020. This change does not affect our ability to recruit and should you be employed at the end of June 2021 you will transfer to the new provider on the same terms and conditionsThis post is classified as Regulated Activity and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
