Job Description

Unix, Linux, System Administrator, SA, Red Hat, VMware, Banking, London, c£470pdA growing bank based in London are looking to add an experienced Unix/Linux System Administrator to join their Unix/Linux Infrastructure team, responsible for the maintenance, configuration, support and documentation of the banks Linux Redhat estate EMEA wide.This is a fantastic chance to join a growing bank that are really on the front-foot.Responsibilities

  • Systems administration of Unix and Red Hat Linux estate
  • Support, configuration, planning, documentation for Red Hat Linux estate.
  • Provide out of hours support in response to incidents on an on-call rota basis
  • Work within and follow ITIL best practice and principles
  • Ensure incidents are logged and documented and managed according to Proble
  • Management SLA’s.
  • Support, configuration, planning, documentation and projects for VMware and Oracle VM, OVM virtual environment.
  • Scripting reports using scripting languages such as Shell, PowerShell or Perl.
