Job Description

Job Title: Ultra High Net Worth Account HandlerContract - Permanent Salary - £30,000 - £37,000Industry - Ultra High Net Worth, HNWLocation - London City_________________________________________________________________________________Description-Our supportive and motivated team is looking to hire an Account Executive who has the ambition and desire to succeed in the London Private Clients division.-In this role, you will be responsible for servicing UHNW/HNW accounts in an efficient manner; supporting your peers to meet and accommodate client demands, achieve overall renewal retention and facilitate growth of the account.-You will need to be passionate, business focused and driven while keeping your clients interests at the heart of your actions. You will need to be ready to arrange cover for the latest Supercar at short notice or place the insurance for a stately home without intimidation.-If you think you are right for this challenge we look forward to meeting you. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:-Adhere to the renewal process while gathering information from Clients and Prospects.-Maintain and grow a book of business by identifying new opportunities and gaps in cover.-Pro-actively arrange renewal terms from the market for your clients, sourcing alternative options where required.-Be responsible for managing your own diary, ensuring appointments are made with underwriters and customers at the appropriate times.-Liaise in depth with underwriters to ensure the terms we negotiate meet our/the clients requirements.-Form strong business relations with all client decision makers.-Undertake client meetings, at ours or their office, or their homes.-Prepare meeting notes from minutes and ensure any points are actioned by you and/or your team within the Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines.-Attend to account queries and credit control matters, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and any concerns raised are directed to the correct team.-Manage own workload to ensure placements are completed within client deadlines and client requirements are met.Person Specification:-Hold/work towards a Chartered Insurance Institute Qualification: Dip CII/ Cert CII.-A-Level standard or equivalent education.-Have knowledge of general insurance (London Market / Lloyds and Industry) products, services, classes of insurance including underlying legal principles and practices relating to risk within own role capacity.-Demonstrable previous experience with evidence of effectively prioritising risks to handle concurrent workflow.-Due diligence in administration and policy checks/processes.-Strong knowledge of client market and insurance industry network.-Work to deadlines and be able to anticipate change; able to quickly grasp and interpret salient information.-Excellent client service focus; the customer will be your top priority.-You should be able to identify potential risks and seek advice when required.-You will be required to travel as part of your role in visiting clients, prospects, insurers and suppliers in order to meet your goals.-Good communication and interpersonal skills.-Excellent planning and analytical skills.-Actively deal with ambiguity and have exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.-Maintain a positive approach when assisting your team members.-Continuously build your industry knowledge and seek professional development.-Eligible to work in the UK.If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact us now on or email us at _________________________________________________________________________________To view all Current Vacancies or for more information on our Refer a Friend scheme, contact one of our consultants or visit our website www.lawesgroup.co.ukPlease Note: Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we will only contact successful applications.
