Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Treasury Accountant has opened with our client, a special lending bank based in the City!The role would report directly to the CFO and will have a liquidity analyst reporting into them, thus being a strong communicator and a qualified accountant is crucial!The person who takes on this role will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for ALCO reporting, stress testing and IRRBB monitoring
  • Draft key documents (ICAAP/ILAAP/ Recovery Plan / Financial Risk policy)
  • Plan for regulatory change from a Liquidity and IRR perspective
The other accountabilities are:
  • Be a Member of ALCO
  • Balance sheet Management
  • Review upcoming regulatory changes, assess impacts for presentation to ALCO and Audit Committee / BCRC and recommend strategic changes.
  • Review liquidity regulatory returns prepared by the Liquidity Analyst.
  • Cover for Liquidity analyst (intra-day liquidity, monitoring FTDs and completing trades) and support them in their role of Secretary to ALMAG and ALCO
  • The role will work alongside the Regulatory Accountant and Liquidity Analyst to complete key regulatory reporting.
