An exciting opportunity for a, fully qualified accountant with Treasury experience has arisen at an established boutique bank on an interim basis of 6 months with an immediate start with the potential to go permanent after that point.Reporting to the CFO, you would be responsible for ALCO reporting, stress testing and IRRBB monitoring and plan for regulatory change from a Liquidity and IRR perspective.The duties of the role include:• Review upcoming regulatory changes, assess impacts for presentation to ALCO and Audit Committee / BCRC and recommend strategic changes.• Prepare monthly ALCO pack and present at ALCO (x6 pa). Summarise and interpret the reports for presentation at ALCO and suggest actions to maintain strategy and/or mitigate risk• Cover for Liquidity analyst (intra-day liquidity, monitoring FTDs and completing trades) and support them in their role of Secretary to ALMAG and ALCO• Enhance the Bank’s approach to product development from a treasury perspective and the approach to transfer pricing• The role will work alongside the Regulatory Accountant and Liquidity Analyst to complete key regulatory reporting.Essential:Regulated Banking experience (PRA/FCA)Experience in Financial Modelling and stress testingFamiliar with finance and treasury software packages and reporting systemsProactivity with own workloadPreferred:Microsoft Office Systems Knowledge especially ExcelExperience working in a small finance/transformational teamProject Management Techniques Banking Background The client is based in central London.
