Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, the opportunity has arisen to join a growing and successful Wealth Management firm as a Portfolio Administrator.Specific responsibilities include: (but are not limited to):

  • Process new business from pre-sales through to policy documentation stage
  • Communicate and liaise with the Directors and other sales agents as directed to ensure all client trade instructions are recorded in a central database
  • Communicate and liaise with the offshore bond administration and trade teams to ensure all client instructions received and logged, are placed with the external funds
  • Detail and keep record of all client transactions, (including, but not limited to, client servicing, client trade instructions etc)
  • Provide regular reports on business activities and case management to the Directors as required
  • General Role Profile and Duties:
  • Efficient and accurate administration and processing of all client requests whether received directly or indirectly
  • Manage and prioritise workflow as necessary to ensure the timely processing of any such requests
  • Liaise with key stakeholders within the Group.
  • Manage relationships with external sources e.g. SIPP/Pension providers whereby they have a mutual client of the company
  • Liaise with other member and employees as and when necessary as part of the overall operations and administration
  • Oversee and liaise with external administration units as and when necessary to ensure the continued functionality, professionalism and progression of the business
  • Continued Professional Development, including adhering to and adopting any developments in regard to systems and processing
  • General office duties - post, filing, faxing, photocopying, stationary etc
  • In order to be considered for this position, suitable candidates MUST:
  • Possess previous exposure to Financial Services, either within the Pension or Investment sector
  • It is preferred that the successful candidate will be educated to degree level
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Possess a desire to forge a career within the IFA/Wealth Arena
