Job Description

Morgan Hunt are proud to be supporting a fantastic finance Regulatory Body based in the City of London, to appoint a Technical & Quality Director within the Audit Quality Review Team.The team monitor the quality of listed and major public interest audits undertaken by the major UK audit firms and is a leading international audit regulator.The Role:

  • Lead the Audit Quality Review technical and quality team.
  • Supervise, coach and oversee the technical and quality team.
  • Lead quality reviews and contribute to the assessment of the work carries out on major audits.
  • Develop summaries and insights arising and communicating these both within the or organisation and externally.
    • The Candidate:
  • Fully qualified member of ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS or ICAI.
  • Significant and senior experience in leading an undertaking audit inspections or leading a quality function is essential.
  • Significant experience at a senior level in audit technical and regulatory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of current auditing and ethical requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team working skills.
  • Substantial experience of auditing UK listed companies and or other major entities.
  • Substantial experience of undertaking quality control reviews within a professional environment.
