Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual who possesses a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. As a Rates & Credit Application Support Specialist, you will work closely with Service & Product Strategy Managers, technicalpartners, and business users to provide comprehensive support for our Rates and Credit trading applications. Your responsibilities will include timely issue resolution, effective communication with clients and stakeholders, contribution to the management ofIT products and services, and the implementation of process improvements and automation solutions.Responsibilities:

  • Support Service & Product Strategy Managers in the Rates and Credit business (Trading and Sales) and technical partners.
  • Ensure timely issue resolution and maintain open lines of communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services.
  • Define business and technical workarounds in a fast-paced environment and drive process improvements, including automation solutions.
Team Description:You will be part of the Rates & Credit Pricing and Trading Application Support team, which is an integral part of our Technology Services division. Based in London, the team aligns with the Rates & Credit business and trading desks to provide critical supportfor trading applications. As a member of this team, you will establish direct relationships with business users and act as the interface between the business and the Rates & Credit IT organization. Collaboration with global application development teams isa key aspect of the role, offering exposure to various aspects of Fixed Income trading and related application platform design.Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues encompassing both technical and business domains.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within Front Office Rates and/or Credit application support in an Investment Banking environment.
  • Experience supporting both packaged and custom solutions, such as ION MarketView for Bonds, Futures, and IRS.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in fundamental IT skills across Windows, UNIX, SQL, and ITIL (e.g., ServiceNOW).
  • Exposure to ION MarketView infra/gateways/MMI Trader interfaces.
  • Knowledge of FIX messaging.
  • Familiarity with Splunk, AppDynamics, or BigPanda automation solutions is a plus.
