Job Description

My client is looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage and lead a team of 8 employment advisers delivering high quality services to people with mental health conditions. Helping them gain and retain employment across North-West & West London by building strong relationships with partners and contributing to the overall development of the service.Main duties:

  • Lead the delivery of high quality Individual Placement & Support services in the borough localities as well as a team of Employment Advisers, ensuring that the service is fully integrated with other service providers and networks in the borough.
  • Develop a person-centred and results orientated culture, lead and motivate the team to deliver a high quality, personalised service that focuses on progress into employment and improved wellbeing of the service users.
  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with key partners - including referral and commissioning partners - to implement positive working arrangements that support integrated working, achieving results and providing high quality feedback on performance.
    • We are looking for candidates with the following:
  • A passion for supporting people with mental health conditions back into employment
  • Commitment to building strong, high performing teams
  • Comfortable working with outcome targets
  • Experience in leading and managing a complex, fast-paced, target-driven operating environment
  • Experience of staff recruitment, training and development to meet individual and company requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills
