Job Description

MS Dynamics (D365 F&O) Systems Analyst - HR Department - Law Firm - City of London - 6 month FTC - £55k- £65k (DoE)We’re looking for a SystemsAnalyst, with extensive experience and knowledge of Dynamics D365 F&O and MS Power Platform, to join a successful law firm in the City on a 6 month FTC as their HR Systems Analyst.Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Systems Analyst will oversee the configuration, development, improvement and support of the MS Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations system used by the HR team.Suitable candidates will need to have proven experience working extensively with MS Dynamics D365 F&O and strong working knowledge of MS Power Platform, together with proven ability to learn and test new business application functionalities and experienceusing and developing PowerBI reports.Opportunity: This is a fantastic contract opportunity for someone looking to join a progressive, friendly and successful City law firm, initially on a 6 month FTC, although the contract could be extended.Our client is offering a competitive salary (£55k-£65k, dependent on experience) and core and flexible benefits scheme.Standard working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm and hybrid working (2-3 days in the office) is offered.Key duties as the HR Systems Analyst will include:

  • Engaging with the HR team to gather requirements and translating into functional specifications for the MS Dynamics 365 F&O system
  • Working with the HR team to facilitate application configuration changes, workflows and enhancements in line with business needs to drive efficiencies
  • Defining and managing best practice methodologies for application developments and solution management
  • Working with the tech team to take responsibility for change management for Dynamics F&O environment including patch installation, software deployment, security changes and data alterations
  • Adhering to change control policy for all application developments and configurations
  • Delivering HR related reporting
  • Facilitating knowledge transfers through cross-functional communications and documentation
  • Producing business documentation including business processes, technical specifications, solution designs, configuration and security protocols, report wireframes and training documentation

What we’re looking for:
  • Extensive experience working with Dynamics D365 F&O
  • Strong experience working with MS Power Platform
  • Proven ability to learn and test new business application functionalities
  • Experience using and developing PowerBI reports
  • Excellent working knowledge of other MS packages and other relevant IT systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced organisation
  • Ability to explain technologies and workflows to non-technical people
  • Previous experience working in project teams
  • Available imminently and able to commit to a minimum 6 month FTC
