Job Description

Job Title: Senior Transport Planner / EngineerLocation: Central LondonSalary Range: Up to £40,000 + paid overtimeThe London based office of a transport planning team situated throughout the country has an opportunity available for a Transport Planner or Engineer to join the business at Senior grade.The organisation have been operating since the early 2000s and grown to over 70 staff across their range of disciplines. Their London office hosts a small transport planning team currently, but with a strong project workflow with a number of blue-chip housing developers, they have ambitions to continue growing this.Candidate Specification:

  • Extensive experience within consultancy transport planning, specifically with private sector clientele;
  • Familiarity with DMRB, local authority design guides and Manual for Streets;
  • Capable of producing health streets transport assessments;
  • Proficiency with Arcady, Picady, LinSig, Trics & Tempro;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and developing business relationships;
  • Experience in managing small teams & mentoring junior staff would be beneficial.
    • Job Description:
  • Preparation of transport assessments & statements;
  • Trip generation, traffic growth projections and production of traffic flow models;
  • Junction modelling;
  • Arrange surveys & analyse traffic/parking data;
  • Assisting and leading on project management;
  • Liaising with clients to advise on and deliver projects;
  • Assist in developing proposals and targeting new business.
    • In return, the organisation is offering a starting salary of up to £40,000, paid overtime and opportunities to progress within the team as you develop.
