Job Description

* Understanding of ESFA compliance requirements with Funding Rules.* understanding of ESFA reports and ability to cleanse reports.* Previous experience of ILR data processing in PICS.Senior Systems Officer within Further EducationWe are seeking an individual with excellent attention to detail, who is highly analytical and with good problem solving skills. You will need to have had previous experience within Education in a similar position dealing with documentation and claims compliance.This position is a 12 month contract with possibility of extension. This position is fully remote ( accept for occasional travel to events). The position will require an immediate start following a successful interview in mid April - however short notice periodscan be considered.Who will you be working forOur Client is a highly established educational and training organisation.What will you be doingAs Senior Systems Officer within Further Education you will lead the Skills Bootcamp provision ensuring that all supporting documentation and claims are compliant. Supporting with monthly apprenticeship ILR returns ensuring timely and accurate data submissions.Also ensuring that internal audits are undertaken regularly, and compliance standards are always maintained and achieved to the highest possible standard.Your position will include:* Audit and Compliance* Validate and process Skills Bootcamp data for both DfE and GLA contracts.* Validate and process ILR data efficiently in accordance with ESFA Funding Rules and internal processes.* Correct ILR validation errors and work on DSATS reports as directed.* Assist in internal audit activities and take necessary steps to resolve identified issues.* Assist in all matters relating to an external audit.* Assist in documenting company processes and implementation of changes. * Cross-Team Collaboration.* Liaise with the delivery teams ensuring timely and compliant submission of all starts and leavers.* Answer queries from other teams and employers* Monitor and report on compliance with the rules, polices and/or procedures associated to funding claims.* Work with the quality and operations teams to ensure processes are embedded within operational activities.* Finance.* Support with invoicing and credit control ensuring timely collection of required co-investments.* Liaise with employers and internal finance team ensuring timely arrangement of additional payments.* Effectively undertake any other duties as required.About you:This position is fast paced and will suit someone who is detail orientated, with strong and positive work ethic..In addition:* Demonstrable understanding of DfE and GLA Skills Bootcamp contract and compliance requirements* Demonstrable understanding of ESFA compliance requirements with Funding Rules* Good understanding of ESFA reports (Submit Learner Data, FIS, PDSAT. Digital Accounts) and ability to accurately cleanse such reports.* Previous experience of ILR data processing in PICS* Strong IT skills (PICS, CRM, Microsoft Applications)* Have strong communication skills.* You will be computer savvy (PICS, CRM, Microsoft applications)* Experience within an academic or further education establishment - essential.Whats in it for youThis is a great opportunity to work for a reputable established organisation.
