Job Description

The CompanyDue to continued growth and success, this international law firmhas an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join them. Having also won an award for Best Law Firm for LegalTech, we are now delighted to support the recruitment of a Senior Project Manager to manage and mentor a team of Project Managers to deliver successful projects across an array of areas, whilst engaging stakeholders and taking responsibility for the successfuldelivery of projects.Key Responsibilities of the Senior Project Manager

  • Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support the business in achieving their desired business outcomes
  • Ensuring successful delivery of projects to agreed timelines and budget and ensuring on-going achievability of planned benefits
  • Drafting and submitting business cases, taking into consideration the holistic people, process and technology change required to deliver on the desired strategic goals & business outcomes
  • Developing budget proposals and subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Developing and managing full-scale, integrated project plans, including the identification and management of inter-dependencies and the critical path
  • Delivering progress reports, proposals and presentations to ensure that key governance forums and stakeholders are able to make effective decisions, in a timely manner and that critical risks and issues are escalated as appropriate
  • Coaching, motivating and supervising project delivery teams (including third parties), influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Conducting project wash-ups and creating recommendations reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Skills & Attributes of the Senior Project Manager
  • An experience Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • A focus on delivering tangible business outcomes, with a clear view for how change fits in to the broader business agenda
  • A full and complete understanding of the technical project life cycle to facilitate the tangible delivery of business benefits & outcomes
  • An approach that recognises the criticality of change management and benefits management (alongside project management) in successfully delivering sustainable business change
  • Persuasive, encouraging and motivating with strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
