Job Description

Up to £45,000 plus EXCELLENT bonus and benefitsHybrid working available!A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join a specialist Banking company based in the heart of the City of London. Joining a dynamic and collaborative HR team, you will be working to support the Senior Learning andDevelopment Manager in the successful implementation of the L&D strategy. This role offers hybrid working, and is fantastic opportunity for someone who has a few years experience within Learning & Development, and is seeking to take their career to the next level!Duties of the Senior Learning and Development Coordinator to include:

  • Supervising training operations, which involves maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), assessing learning effectiveness, implementing continuous improvement strategies, and coordinating Learning and Development (L&D) activities.
  • Cultivating a culture of learning within the bank.
  • Collaborating with the L&D Manager to conduct an annual learning needs analysis and identifying learning requirements during interactions with the business.
  • Procuring and offering guidance on external training providers as needed to address identified needs, adhere to timelines, and meet budgetary constraints.
  • Arranging training rooms, managing refreshments, and providing IT support to external training providers.
  • Creating guides and booklets to supplement training efforts.
  • Overseeing qualification programs.
Requirements for the successful Learning and Development Coordinator:
  • Educated to university undergraduate level or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant Learning and Development experience, ideally gained within Financial Services
  • Strong IT skills and experience of LMS systems
  • Excellent organization skills with an ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Training, Insights Discovery and/or other psychometric qualifications (desirable)
