Position: Senior Construction Technician / Operations TechnicianLocation: London / HybridSalary: £50,000 - £70,000An establish global Lloyds broker is looking to recruit an experienced construction insurance technician for their team. This is a senior position and would involve creating slips alongside ensuring the teams work is compliant and correct.Working in the international team you will be involved in a range of work, covering clients across infrastructure, energy, transportation, residential etc.This is a welcoming and friendly team who are looking for someone who can bring their experience to improve process and aid in the divisions success.The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity awaits a skilled and experienced professional to join an esteemed team within a global independent Lloyds broker. As a Senior Insurance Technician specialising in International Construction within their Marine, Energy, and ConstructionDivision. As a key contributor to their success, you will play a pivotal role in managing insurance portfolios across global territories, including the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

• Portfolio Oversight: Manage and oversee insurance portfolios within the Marine, Energy, and Construction Division, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
• Global Territory Focus: Engage with diverse global territories, including the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa. Adapt to and stay informed about regional nuances and regulatory changes affecting insurance practices.
• Review and Compliance: Act as a senior figure within the team, responsible for reviewing colleagues work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards. Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Production of Slips and Documentation: Maintain a hands-on approach to the production of insurance slips and documentation. Ensure the timely and accurate creation of essential documents for international construction projects.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold quality assurance standards within the division. Conduct regular audits and assessments to guarantee the highest level of accuracy in all documentation and processes.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with underwriters, brokers, and clients to address inquiries, provide technical expertise, and contribute to the development of comprehensive insurance solutions.

What’s needed for me to be considered

• Previous experience as a senior technician, with a focus on international construction projects within the Marine, Energy, and Construction sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance slips, documentation, and international insurance compliance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to review and guide junior team members effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across different global territories.
• Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven track record in ensuring compliance and accuracy in insurance documentation.
