Job Description

Role: Senior Direct Marketing Executive (Supporter Recruitment)Location: Hybrid/ RemoteSalary: £34,000 - £42,000Contract: PermanentI am delighted to be partnering with a wonderful childrens charity. They are looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive (Supporter Recruitment) to work within the Supporter Recruitment team, project managing the organisations key individual supporterrecruitment campaigns. The ideal candidate will deliver new supporters within budgeted income and expenditure levels, in line with internal and regulatory standards and codes, to maximise the long-term net income needed to fund the organisations charitableprogramme.Key responsibilities

  1. The project management of a range of supporter recruitment campaigns through a mix of face-to-face, telephone and digital activities
  2. Generation of recruitment campaigns to supporters from concept through to delivery including researching, planning, writing, designing, database management, data sourcing and close ongoing management of external agencies ensuring quality of service
  3. Analyse and report on recruitment campaigns, providing weekly results and end of campaign reports to Senior Management, including leading ongoing performance review of activity with external providers to maximise value for money
  4. Research and develop new supporter recruitment propositions, creative ideas, and campaigns to maximise supporter lifetime value, monitoring sector developments and use competitor analysis to identify opportunities
  5. Track and monitor income and expenditure for all recruitment campaigns, investigate and report discrepancies, and propose remedial actions to the Head of Supporter Recruitment as required
  6. To produce regular accurate budget reforecasts and work with the Head of Supporter Recruitment to develop annual and longer term budgets for the programme
  7. To work with the Head of Supporter Recruitment to devise supporter recruitment plans, strategies and budgets.
  8. To support the development of the Direct Marketing Executive (Supporter Recruitment), providing regular assistance on projects and informal supervision on certain activities
  9. To work closely with the Supporter Development team, keep them informed of all recruitment campaigns and share knowledge and insight with colleagues working on supporter development campaigns to ensure continuity for supporters
  10. Keep abreast of the charitys work (in the UK and internationally) and to feed new developments into the recruitment campaigns and plans
  11. Proactively monitor sector developments in relevant fundraising areas; seeking out and making use of opportunities to build up peer networks, information share and identify opportunities to drive forward our supporter marketing programme
  12. Provide reports as requested by the Head of Supporter Recruitment or Deputy Director: Fundraising and to attend and fully contribute to internal and external meetings, including chairing as required
  13. Conducting training updates with external fundraisers where appropriate
  14. Supporter care administration and communications as and when required
Skills
  • Working background within the charitable sector preferred
  • Proven track-record leading Face-to-Face fundraising & telemarketing campaigns
  • Proven experience working with Fundraising external agencies
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Experience working with external agencies
  • Analytical with excellent diligence
