Job Description

Senior Digital Content WriterMedia/Entertainment exp essential£47,000Central Londonflexible workingA background in Media/Newspaper/Magazine/Entertainment as a Content Writer/Editor is ESSENTIALA fantastic opportunity to join a world renowned Entertainment company as a Senior Digital Content Writer. You will lead the content and editorial strategy for the news and entertainment section of the website and produce content for social media channels. The Role:

  • Work closely with the Head of Social Media and the SVP of TV & Digital to devise the overall editorial strategy for the news and entertainment section of the website
  • Work closely with a team of producers and video editors on the use of video content across the website
  • Responsible for meeting key traffic and quarterly programmatic revenue targets
  • Lead SEO from a content perspective, working with the in-house technology
  • Line manage two content executives, taking responsibility for their development
  • Devise the annual content calendar
  • Sub-edit all content for the websites
  • Develop a network of external contributors to the website
Essential requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a Senior Content role
  • Experience within Media/Entertainment
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Ability to produce creative content and have a passion for stories
  • Familiarity with CMS
  • Line management experienceable to guide and mentor other editors
