Job Description

Senior Biomedical Engineer - PeterboroughPackage - up to £32,000 per annum / company car / pension / overtime opportunities / private healthcare / 33 days holiday / door to door payWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Biomedical Engineer to provide service and repairs on medical devices within one specific hospital.Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturers guidelines
  • Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufactures guidelines
  • Complete associated admin needed to close repairs and PMs
  • Exceed contact KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist Junior Biomed Engineer whenever required
  • Maintain spare part stock wherever necessary
  • Scheduling and completing workload for assigned customers within area
  • Responsible for escalating and defining necessary resources to maintain equipment
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations
  • Responsible for delivering customer satisfaction
  • Attend customer meetings when required
  • Review ways to improve productivity and reduce operating expenditure
    • Skills
  • 3 - 5 Years in biomedical setting.
  • Patient monitoring, diathermies, Theatre tables, Defibrillators, Infusion & volumetric devices, Anaesthesia equipment, Ventilation devices.
  • Equipment Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards
  • Has worked in clinical areas and involving patient communication

  • Competent with a broad range of medical devices
