The Opportunity A successful, highly reputable, global professional services organisation is looking for proactive Resource Deployment Consultants in London. In this pivotal role, you will be part of the UK&I Resource Management which is recognised as an integral enabler to the growth of business. The Detail The role of the Resource Deployment Consultant is a key position. You will best placed to make unbiased commercial decisions in placing the right resource to the right project. You will need to know all the commercials around each engagement and rate of each consultant, ensuring that the project/s are not making a loss. Supporting the consultants through training, personal development and any performance related matters. Key responsibilities Analyse & takes action on resourcing performance Share business performance and discuss trends, interventions and actions to improve results with the Resource Deployment Manager to inform Strategic Resource Lead and SL Leadership Track productivity targets with A teams to drive performance Oversight of non-chargeable activity e.g. holiday approval Action non-chargeable and authorised projects insights and highlighting areas of concern to SSL Leadership Understand client handler skills and career aspirations Maintain skills database Ensure optimal demand and supply management for resource deployment Use knowledge of clients and their capability requirements combined with an understanding of skills and career aspirations of individuals to make resourcing decisions Manage the bench/capacity and identify creative opportunities to optimise productivity and profitability Act as the first point of contact for resourcing conflicts and issues, escalating to the Resource Deployment Manager Whats on offer This is a 12 month fixed term contract paying a competitive salary plus good company benefits .
