Job Description

Position: Reinsurance TechnicianLocation: London (flexible home working)Salary: £35,000 - £50,000The client is a leading independent global reinsurance firm and is seeking an experienced Non-Marine Treaty Reinsurance Technician to join their team. In this role, you will manage full technician responsibilities and clients globally.Joining a friendly and welcoming team you will be involved in a range of tasks and duties ensuring the highest level of service is provided to your clients.You will have an international client base with a focus on Caribbean and Europe.Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of non-marine treaty reinsurance contracts, ensuring timely and accurate administration of policies and contracts.
  • Work closely with underwriters and brokers to resolve any issues or discrepancies in the contract terms.
  • Perform technical analysis and review of reinsurance treaties, including premium calculations, coverage limits, and retention levels.
  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate, including policy documents, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and reinsurers, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
Requirements:
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Non-Marine Treaty Reinsurance administration, preferably with a broker or reinsurer.
  • Strong technical knowledge of reinsurance principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex information and identify errors or discrepancies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and reinsurers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
