An exciting opportunity for a fully qualified accountant with regulatory reporting experience has arisen at an established international bank.Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you would be responsible for preparing and overhauling all reg reporting alongside the Regulatory Accountant, create XBRL files in K - Helix for upload to REGDATA, ensuring taxonomy changes are incorporated.The duties of the role include:• Improve existing automation of Regulatory Reporting for submission via REGDATA and BEEDS.• Support the Regulatory Accountant with BAU work, to cover in his absence and address any weaknesses in the regulatory reporting process.• Assist in the preparation of Pillar 3, ICAAP and ILAAP documents as required• Assist with the daily/weekly/monthly liquidity and capital monitoring and production of MI including Head Office reporting.• Liaise with external Consultants and Regulatory reporting package vendor(s) to implement a system driven process to produce all supervisory and statistical returnsEssential:Regulated Banking experience (PRA/FCA)Very good experience of COREP and Bank of England reportingMinimum five years’ regulatory reporting experience.Extensive working knowledge of PRA/Bank of England regulatory requirements, EBA regulations and Q&A updates is essential.Preferred:• Microsoft Office Systems Knowledge especially Excel• Previous experience with Equation and Suade / Vermeg software desirable.The client is based in central London.The role pays between £65k - £75k depending on skills and experience.
