As a Lead Python Engineer, you willplay a pivotal role in creating a bespoke pricing calculator, with the entire backend implemented in Python.Experience working within a London Market Insurance Client is essential to be considered for this position.Key Responsibilities:* Lead the development of a bespoke pricing calculator for insurance renewals.* Implement the backend of the solution entirely in Python.* Utilize expertise in working with hyperexponential solutions, with a preference for those familiar with the London Market and general insurance.* Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the complexities of the insurance industry for successful project execution.* Emphasize backend development, ensuring the solutions robustness through proficient testing.* Foster a collaborative working style, actively engaging with business partners throughout the project.Python Developer Requirements:* Proven experience in building pricing solutions, particularly in the context of insurance renewals.* Proficiency in developing bespoke pricing calculators using Python for the backend.* Previous work on hyperexponential solutions or similar pricing tools such as Aon Tyche.* Ideally, familiarity with the London Market and general insurance.* In-depth understanding of the complexities of the insurance industry.* Collaborative approach to working with business partners.* Quick onboarding process, involving an initial call with Alex followed by a technical discussion.To apply, please apply the job online.
