Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy aligned with the firms goals and objectives.
  • Proactively identify and leverage media opportunities to enhance the firms reputation and brand visibility.
  • Build strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure positive coverage and manage crisis communications effectively.
  • Create compelling and engaging content for various channels, including press releases, website, social media, and thought leadership articles.
  • Oversee the production of marketing collateral, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all materials.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to partners and senior leadership on communications initiatives and media relations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and amplify the firms unique value proposition and key messages.
  • Monitor and analyse media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and recommend proactive strategies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in communications and public relations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Experience in communications, public relations, or corporate communications with a law firm.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies that drive brand visibility and enhance reputation.
  • Strong media relations skills, with an extensive network of media contacts in the legal industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences and platforms.
  • Experience in crisis communications and issues management, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation tools.
