Job Description

The VacancyThe HR department is responsible for the provision of a full range of HR services to the Firm including recruitment and resourcing, talent management, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, staff welfare, compliance and maintenanceof personnel records.The People Development team supports colleagues training and development needs. Based in London, the team, which is part of the wider HR team, predominantly services our offices in the UK and Dublin, as well as providing support to our Belgian, French,German and US offices. The team, listed below, works closely with the firms lawyers, business services and legal support services to help boost them from where they are now to where they need to be to provide the best service to their clients.Through our Business Skills curricula, Academy programmes and other programmes, we enable people to build new capabilities and grow their existing skillsets, to ensure they can meet their individual, team and firm objectives.Inclusiveness and DiversityAt Fieldfisher we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, motivated and able to be themselves.   • Coordinate all logistical aspects of the annual training schedules, and ad hoc internal training courses to ensure everything is in place. This includes scheduling, liaising with training representatives and overseeing the booking of rooms, managing diaries,arranging catering, IT equipment and course materials
  • Oversee all requests for external training to ensure internal processes are followed, and that external courses have been booked, paid and diarised
  • Oversee the maintenance and updating of intranet content
  • Overseeing the PD inbox and help the PD Administrator field responses
  • Overseeing the PD Filesite system
  • Collate and analyse data (including training needs analysis data) and provide regular training reports as required
  • General co-ordination and support for the PD team
  • Assisting with the design and delivery some of the in-house skills training sessions
  • Co-ordinating the Trainee PSC programmes and the PSC tracker
  • Assisting in the co-ordination and monitoring all sponsorship agreements
  • Maintaining and updating the PD know how
  • Maintaining all accreditation rights
Key Skills & Experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (e.g. CIPD)
  • Experience in a similar role in a professional services environment is desirable but not essential
  • Confident communication and ability to engage and motivate internal colleagues
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, think ahead and around challenges and provide solutions
  • Strong IT skills (including a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, and Databases)
