Job Description

Position: Pensions SolicitorExperience Required: 2+ Years PQELocation: LondonSalary: £95,000 - £130,000A leading international law firm with a strong presence in London is actively seeking a Pensions Solicitor to bolster their experienced Pensions team. This role is suited to a dynamic and forward-thinking individual who is looking to make a significant impactwithin a high-calibre environment.The Role:The successful candidate will join a specialist team dealing with a comprehensive range of pensions-related work. This includes advising on all aspects of pensions schemes, managing pensions aspects of corporate transactions, restructuring, scheme funding,and compliance with legislative changes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of pensions law issues, including the establishment, operation, restructuring and winding up of pension schemes.
  • Support clients on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Liaise with scheme trustees and employers on day-to-day scheme governance and compliance.
  • Assist in dispute resolutions related to pensions, including liaising with the Pensions Regulator as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
  • A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 2 years PQE specializing in pensions law.
  • Demonstrable experience in a well-regarded pensions practice.
  • A thorough understanding of current pensions legislation and the ability to apply it practically to benefit clients.
  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously.
