Job Description

Caretaker/Housekeeper Working hours: 12:00 am - 8:00 am (Night-shift) Monday to FridayLocation: Farringdon, EC1RA Student Accommodation is looking for a Caretaker/Housekeeper to join its team, located in Farringdon.The main purpose of the role is to provide support to residents and assist the wider management team in delivering exceptional customer service and providing a safe and secure environment for its residents. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with a friendly disposition.Key responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all tenants and third parties including contractors, and other visitors
  • Conducting regular patrols of the building
  • Managing the post and incoming deliveries for the tenants and management
  • To perform basic maintenance (inhouse training will be provided)
  • Ensuring the residence is always clean and presentable
  • Carrying out viewings and assisting with any other ad hoc tasks that may be required
  • Attending residential complaints and noise issues that may arise
  • Maintaining all records and reporting systems
  • Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal skills and be able to build a rapport with tenants
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Experience is a similar environment of housekeeping or similar hospitality environment desirable
  • Computer illiterate and be able to use Microsoft Office
  • Flexible attitude being able to cover other shifts for holiday cover etc.
