Job Description

Network Engineer4 - month contract£350 - £400 P/DCentral London -February 2020 ** Please only apply here and do not call in, as theres a lot of applications for me to get through **Im looking for a Network Engineer to work with my client within the betting industry.Youd get to use your expertise in:

  • The configuration and maintenance of networking infrastructure appliances from juniper, cisco and F5.
  • Layer 3 routing (NAT, SNAT, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
  • Layer 2 switching (STP, LACP, MLAG, VLAN).
  • Networking HA Protocols (HSRP + VRRP)
  • Site to site and road warrior VPN Technologies.
  • 3rd Line escalation and architecture.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of core technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, HTTP(S), SNMP and TLS/SSL.
  • Knowledge of building fault-tolerant systems. Software and Hardware Clustering and Load balancing systems.
    • Beneficial:
  • HP Aruba + Juniper Junos.
  • Code and scripting
  • Cloud computing and cloud applications (e.g. Azure and AWS)
  • Vitalisation platforms/ Environments, superficially VMware
    • A CCNP or equivalent experience accreditation with experience of managing/designing networks for medium to large enterprises is ideal for this Network Engineer role.If you or anyone you know is a Network Engineer with the experience above please apply now.
