Growing US law firm is looking to hire an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager, the first of it’s kind, to join their London office. The firm embrace flexibility, whether you are an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager ina larger firm looking for a step back into a smaller firm or looking for your next senior level Marketing & Business Development Manager role, perhaps this is the opportunity you have been waiting for.• The firm are prepared to offer a generous salary of up to 95k DOE• Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, on a hybrid working pattern of four days per week in the office and 1 day remotely• Very short walk from all City mainline stations.The Marketing & Business Development Manager will spearhead all marketing and BD plans for London in what is an exciting period of growth for the firm. You will report directly into the London Managing Partner as well as the Marketing & Business DevelopmentDirector situated in their New York offices. The Marketing & Business Development Manager play a pivotal role in supporting the firms continued development within the London legal industry, working with sector heads and partners, developing and implementingstrategic campaigns.The Marketing & Business Development Manager duties include;• Responsible for pitches and cross selling opportunities for the London office• Responsible for managing the digital distribution of newsletters and social media posts and other marketing content for their practice groups while working closely with the PR and communications team• Manage Chambers and Legal 500 directories submission process for the assigned practice groups• Support the assigned practice groups by updating relevant materials and presentations• Coordinate client events/seminars/webinars in London in conjunction with the Events team and lawyers• Assign tasks and projects to the marketing staff explaining how those duties are to be done (i.e. what level of performance will meet the supervisor’s expectations) and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured• Advise the Director of Marketing and BD of project status• Meet established deadlines for all projects and oversee flawless execution• Support and assist any assigned direct reports in managing workloadWith this broad role supporting all Partners and Associates in the London office, the client is keen to secure the services of a legal industry Business Development and Marketing Manager all-rounder from the legal industry, preferably working within a corporateUS or international law firm.
