Job Description

Dedicated to providing analytical support on projects for major global occupiers and the owners of commercial property.The mission of the Core Advisory function at CBRE is help our clients make more scientific commercial real estate investment decisions across a variety of sectors (e.g. retail, office, life sciences etc). As a Consultant, youll work collaboratively with those clients on projects delivering data driven analytics and insight regarding their market, customers, competitors, location and networks. Increasingly our clients are interested in the rise of the omni-channel customer and the impact on commercial space, logistics, supply chain, access to labour and product offer.The ideal candidate would be someone who has an exceptional eye for detail yet is comfortable and confident deciphering complex information and turning it into actionable insight for differing audiences. They should also have a passion for analytics and always be on the lookout for innovative data and tools to improve our service offer.The role is focused on the UK, though we work internationally, and so travel in Europe may be required.Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering project work on behalf of our clients on themes including;
  • Retailer and destination catchment analysis
  • Access to labour modelling, commute patterns
  • Omni-channel market and customer insights
  • Network strategy modelling
  • Sales and P&L forecasting
  • Robustly manage and interpret data from a variety of sources
  • Clearly display, present and communicate complex data and insight through engaging reports and presentations
  • Championing the CBRE Core Advisory team brand both internally and externally
    • Person Specification/Requirements
  • Degree level educated in relevant field (e.g. geography / statistics / economics / computer science)
  • A passion for innovation in the field of data and analytics
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to quickly form professional relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels of seniority
  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail
  • Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team
  • Understands and appreciates the importance of using discretion
  • Knowledge or experience of retail or property sectors would also be a benefit
  • Any Alteryx, Tableau or GIS (ESRI / MapInfo) experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Experience of working in python / r
