Job Description

Lead Java SDETPassionate about quality of coverage, quality of code and quality of deliveryDo you have good understanding of Core Java principlesA North American IT solutions provider working with top tier investment banks and communication companies is searching for a Lead Java SDET to join their team as they scale their European HQ from 300 people to 400+ this year. This leading communicationscompliance provider is developing innovative solutions for their clients for email, social media and voice messaging.The Lead Java SDET will have experience with Java coding and testing solutions for API services on large scale systems. The tech stack you will be working with includes: Java, JUnit, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter. Day to day, 50% of your time will be getting involved in design reviews, sprint planning and other Agile artifacts. The rest will be leading a team of 3-5 highly successful Java SDETs and getting involvedwith testing.This Lead Java SDET opportunity will be a strong fit if you:

  • Have experience leading other testers and making tech decisions/taking ownership of projects
  • Proficient writing Java code
  • Have experience with Junit, Selenium and testing backend systems/APIs
As the Lead Java SDET, you will be a strong advocate for modern development ways of working including pair programming, Agile and BDD/TDD. This company is a regular host of tech meetups, hackathons, Pizza Thursdays and there are even a few beer taps in theiroffices!Benefits on offer from this company:
