Japanese speaking Planning and Management (VP)A leading Japanese bank is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking Planning and Management (VP) in London. In this role you will be tasked with promoting, coordinating, and delivering projects effectively that contribute to the European Treasury Department& business promotion.Fluency in spoken and written Japanese would be highly advantageous for this role.TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to FridaySALARY: up to £85K depending on experience, plus good benefitsSTART: ASAPLOCATION: Central London (Currently hybrid working - It may change depending on the company’s decision.) Planning and Management (VP) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:• To promote, coordinate and deliver projects effectively that will contribute to Europe Treasury Department & business promotion• Responsible for the introduction of new Treasury products and business solutions that are aligned to the Europe Treasury Department business plan, including EMEA Offices• To identify risks to achieving the promotion of new & existing business and provide solutions to these risks with respect to new business and any Regulations, Code of Conduct and Procedures that govern its business and behaviours• To contribute to the strategy and objectives of so that profit, financial integrity and client satisfaction are maximized• To communicate closely with relevant department in London, EMEA and Head Office to proceed business smoothly• To provide training / mentoring to junior members of staffPlanning and Management (VP) IDEAL CANDIDATE:• Experience of project management to achieve the intended milestones and objectives as a project lead or project member. Preferably in Treasury related (Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives, ALM) projects.• Experience of a front office role, preferably trading or sales in Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives or ALM• Demonstrates consistently strong time management skills, personal responsibility and accountability for delivering results, is self-motivated, personally driven and committed• Effective communications in all situations with due regard to accuracy, brevity, clarity and style. Ensuring that senior management & junior staff are kept fully informed of all relevant information• Demonstrates a proactive approach in making suggestions for improvements, changes and adding value to working practices• Delivery of business results and outcomes taking into account business requirements and costs• Effective leadership to unite project members• Able to organise personal workload and manage time and activity to complete tasks.• Able to manage personal growth by developing a portfolio of experiences and skills in line with the overall business needs of Europe Treasury Department• Language skills - Japanese spoken / written would be advantageous** All applicants for the Planning and Management (VP) must have the right to work in the UK as the Company is not able to offer visa support.If your application is successful, you will be contacted within two business days.
