In this role you will be responsible for supporting the IT Change management function and governing the lifecycle of all changes being applied within our IT systems, enablingbeneficial changes to be made with minimum disruptions to IT Services.You will ensure the effective and efficient execution of the Technical Change Management process for all production IT systems, maintaining service protection and assurance across all IT managed platforms and environments.Hybrid working is available in this role. We ask that you attend the office 2-3 days per week.This role could be based in any of our four locations; Bradford, London, Petersfield or Chatham.About the RoleIn your day-to-day role, as an IT Change Analyst you will:

  • Monitor appropriate standards and controls for Change Management and ensure they are continually met.
  • Responsible for ensuring the proper and auditable deployment of change activity across appropriate environments from initiation and assessment to deployment and review.
  • Mentor Stakeholders across IT, the wider business, and third-party vendors in matters of IT Change, acting as the principal control and escalation point.
  • Advocate for responsible changes to be raised within the business.
  • Mediate conflicts relating to change
  • Closely work with Service Transition, and Delivery/Operations teams to ensure smooth changes to service.
  • Own, chair and facilitate post implementation reviews with all relevant parties for any approved changes which resulted in unexpected service impact. Ensuring all appropriate risks are raised, improvement initiatives implemented, and disciplinary actionstaken.
  • Own and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB), chair scheduled/ad-hoc CABs or eCABs. Produce Agendas, Minutes and complete any follow up actions.
About YouWhat you will bring to the team:
  • Good knowledge of Change Management Principles and latest industry Standards.
  • Articulate and professional- Define and communicate Change standards for implementation across all IT, third parties & business Stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinker - Able to constantly review and redefine existing process’ to meet agile requirements, while ensure Service Assurance is appropriately protected.
  • Conflict Management - Able to resolve conflict and challenge appropriately particularly when pressed by Colleagues and Managers.
  • Skilled Communicator at all levels - Accomplished at producing clear and informative MI, pitched appropriately dependent on audiences across all management and colleague levels
  • Ability to Manage Change - Thrives within a constantly changing and developing working environment. Challenges the accepted norms and identifies the opportunities that change provides, seeking to take advantage of them for the wider benefit of the organisation.
  • Able to deputise for IT Change Manager when required.
