Job Description

ONE OF THE BIGGEST GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT BRANDS, PRODUCER OF AWARD WINNING TV/ FILM CONTENT IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR FINANCE ANALYST, TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO STAKEHOLDERS ACROSS ALL REVENUE STREAMS INCLUDING TV/ FILM PRODUCTION, CHANNELS &STREAMING. Based in their stunning Central London offices and managing a small team you will ensure accurate reporting, monitoring the intracompany process and partnering with controllers across multiple regions. Tasks will include;

  • Monthly and quarterly close processes, including assistance with performing foreign currency.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling intracompany balance sheet and P&L.
  • Analyse process KPIs/metrics and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis (including for non-finance departments).
  • Partner with the business and broader finance community to provide financial expertise on projects.
  • Help build a strong Close and Consolidation team that strives for high standards of performance and service delivery to the various Business Units.
  • Participate in discussions related to functional design, system controls, and requirements from a finance/controllership perspective.
Qualifications
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified experience within a major Accounting Firm or multinational organisation.
  • Sound technical accounting experience, including comprehensive understanding of US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS etc.
  • Proficient user of financial accounting systems and highly competent in Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities and challenging stakeholders.
