Job Description

An interim role within a highly successful Lloyds underwriter. The role will have an overall remit to manage the organisations tax compliance and accounting activities and of the development of the function in line with business growth and development.Duties will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations including HMRC and Lloyds of London and the delivery of all returns
  • Acting as the key point of contact for external tax advisers
  • Review and where necessary preparation of corporation tax returns, VAT and Lloyds tax returns
  • International tax provisioning
  • Managing the compliance and control framework and the monitoring and mitigation of risks
  • Involvement in upcoming projects including the implementation of a new GL
  • Providing wider support to the business.
