Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our client, a global insurance company, and their growing People team. As HR Business Partner you will partner with the business with a focus on implementing HR initiatives, providing bestpractice and advise on all HR policies and processes. You will partner with the US therefore must have a strong understanding of the US market and a strong understanding of SMCR.This is the perfect opportunity for a Junior HR Business Partner looking to progress their career within a dynamic, forward-thinking business. This is a permanent position based in the City of London with a salary up to £65,000.HR Business Partner responsibilities:

  • Supporting you the US teams on all ER advise
  • Take leadership on maintaining and developing positive relationships to proactively support the management team with people issues
  • Assist with the implementation of HR Policies and advise all employees on policies and procedures
  • Ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas of the employee life cycle
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support on the success of current company processes
  • Help to ensure that relevant FCA requirements are met
  • Work alongside the HR Manager on the development of successful L&D programmes
  • Consults with leaders on employee issues including disciplinary issues, employee development, retention, compensation philosophy, restructuring and organisational development needs
  • Upskill people leaders to support proactive management of employee relations activity
  • Present findings to Senior stakeholders regarding relevant people information
Skills & Experience of HR Business Partner
  • Previous experience within a HR Generalist position
  • Good knowledge and experience regarding FCA rules & SM&CR requirements
  • Experience of partnering with senior stakeholders across the full HR lifecycle
  • CIPD Qualified
