Forensic Accountant - AssociateStarting immediately, a Forensic and Investigative Professional Support Services Consultancy is looking for a Forensic Accountant - Associate to work from its London office.Job Description The Forensic Accounting professionals review accounting and business records and provide detailed analysis to help uncover essential facts and insights. They bring to bear the range of the forensic investigation skill set to help clients understand and analyze events or issues and prepare to deal with them. The company has developed methodologies and strategies that help clients handle difficult circumstances.They are looking for individuals who seek exciting, long-term career challenges and has a genuine interest in the area of forensic/investigative accounting and litigation support services. Successful individuals in this field are naturally outgoing, self-motivated, possess strong communication, leadership and analytical skills, and enjoy a wide variety of work experiences and challenges.Responsibilities Perform targeted analysis of data, under the guidance of Project Managers, from client ERP systemsReview documents to identify items relevant to investigationCompile and analyse facts to formulate, substantiate and/or critique financial calculations, theories, claims, or conclusionsAssist project managers in preparation of tables, exhibits and charts for the inclusion in draft reportsMaintain integrity of corporate informationBalance multiple projects and responsibilitiesCommunicate effectively to all levels of engagement managementDemonstrate an understanding of risk associated with various engagementsSupport the firm in its business development and marketing activitiesQualifications, Skills and Experience - EssentialGraduate - either undergraduate or post-graduate degree - with no more than 2 years of work experience of technical and financial advisory work related to accounting, audit, forensic accounting, investigation or litigation servicesDemonstrated interest in accounting, especially in forensic-related mattersCreate and deliver client service work that exceeds client expectationsAbility to work independently under the guidance of project managers and take ownership of specific assignment tasksAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and very strong organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointFlexibility with the travel requirements of client service projects requiredQualifications, Skills and Experience - PreferredBusiness fluency in German, Russian, Portuguese, Mandarin and/or Spanish strongly preferredA strong accounting, finance, and/or economics background preferredExperience in the Financial Services Industry a plusGraduate Diploma in Accounting (or related) preferredDiploma in Fraud Examination preferredCompetitive PackageBased in EC1N (nearest station is Farringdon)Ref: GGP 117 Required skills
