* Commis Chef / Demi Chef de Partie* £26,000 - £27,500 + Overtime pay* Monday to Friday, no WeekendsJob Role: Commis Chef / Demi Chef de PartieLocation: London CitySector: Contract CateringSalary: £26,000 - £27,500 + Overtime Pay after 40 HoursWe are looking for a Commis or Demi Chef de Partie for a corporate site in the City, we are looking for attitude and enthusiasm as much as we are experience how ever some kitchen experience will be required for this role.Benefits -* £26,000 - 27,500 starting salary depending on experience * Monday to Friday only no weekends with some occasional evenings* Great support and training from Senior Chefs* 40 Hour Contract with additional hours paid at overtime* Great work / life balanceThis is a purely a Monday to Friday role with daytime hours of 7am to 3.30pm. You will also have the opportunity to work overtime in events which is paid after 40 hours.You will help the senior chefs in all areas of the kitchen and help with basic prep, mis-en-place lists, veg prep, Sandwiches and other kitchen duties as required.We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef / Demi Chef who has good all round kitchen experience gained in either contract catering / restaurant / hotel kitchen and has a strong understanding of the basics. Ideally you will have some formal training andqualifications but this is not essential.This role is based in a fine dining and events kitchen so a real interest in high quality food will be required as well as a willingness to learn.
