Job Description

Tailored Recruiter is working with a fast-growth, locum healthcare agency in Central London to actively recruit an experienced, onsite Compliance Officer as soon as possible; they are an approved framework provider under the CPP and H.T.E in the specialistemergency medicine area within the locum market. They are also a diligent, well-run, professional business with low staff turnover - and reward those who work hard, are trustworthy and reliable.Led by a professional management team who are actually Recruiters themselves who bring a wealth of knowledge of the locum market, they are growing in line with healthcare agencies awarded the framework contracts for public and private hospitals across thecountry - including NHS. Due to this growth, they are seeking a professional, confident and experienced Compliance Officer to report into and work closely with a genuinely delightful, impressive, experienced Compliance Manager.Core responsibilities;

  • Scanning/filing - Paper and electronic
  • Dealing with all Compliance queries from Candidates/ Recruiters and Trusts in the NHS
  • Dealing with the recruitment compliance process from start to finish for on boarding of new candidates
  • Answering all telephone calls, taking messages and passing them onto the relevant person
  • Respond to all correspondence via email, post, telephone
  • Dealing with trust portals/master vendors and ensuring all candidates are set up and compliance is uploaded and updated when needed as per the requests of each recruitment consultant
  • Completing Compliance checklists which get sent to the trusts prior to any Doctor getting put forward or accepted for shifts
  • Updating all of the recruitment consultants when documents are expiring so they are aware
  • Supporting Recruitment Consultants with compliance queries or requests and dealing with them all in a timely manor
  • Dealing with complaints and making sure they are logged/resolved in a timely manner with your manager
  • Ensuring you are implementing any changes that you are informed of with the frameworks to all new candidates
  • Assisting with Audits when needed
Candidate Requirements;
  • Compliance experience in a previous / current role covering typical compliance responsibilities for a healthcare recruitment business
  • Demonstrably trustworthy, reliable and professional approach to their work and standards
  • A confident and effective communicator, able to liaise effectively with Recruiters, Doctors, Directors of the business and all members of staff
  • Be on no more than 1 month notice - ideally with a Recruitment business in Healthcare in London (candidates MUST possess UK compliance experience working onsite)
  • Possess knowledge & experience of working for a framework NHS provider of medical locums
  • Be willing to work onsite 5 days, and prove an able deputy for the Compliance Manager
