Job Description

Job title: Compliance ManagerSalary: CompetativeLocation: London/HybridThe role:As the Compliance Manager, you will be assisting the Compliance functions of a reputable, rapidly growing London Market Insurer with a view toensure that relevantregulation &requirements are adhered to & communicated to the business.Duties:

  • Act as regulatory liaison for the business, ensuring appropriate communications in a transparent and timely manner.
  • Maintain high quality relationships withregulators (FCA, Lloyds, International etc.).
  • Ensure appropriate regulatory returns & approvals are filed in good time.
  • Support on compliance monitoring plan.
  • Assisting with compliance systems and controls, ensuring all are in place and understood by all relevant members of the business.
  • Drafting, reviewing and embedding policies and procedures.
  • Oversee SMCR framework to ensure the appropriate documentation of senior management responsibilities.
  • Provide horizon scanning & ensure appropriate oversight of regulatory and legislative changes impacting the business.
  • Responding to compliance queries from the business.
  • Providing training to staff on compliancematters.
Experience/Skills:
  • Experience in a similar role within Insurance (Essential).
  • Experiencewith compliance requirements in the Lloyd’s market .
  • Experience of effectivelymanagingstakeholders.
  • Experience providing adviceto the wider business.
  • Experience of dealing with the FCA.
