OUR CLIENTOur client is a top, internationally recognised design studio headquartered in London. This is one of the most exciting companies in the UK to work for.The company is responsible for designs covering everything from skyscrapers in New York, to national monuments and public transportation systems.The company is made up of architects and designers, and serves the architecture and construction industries to create impactful innovative designs. Many of which have a green-environmental element.JOB DESCRIPTION The role of Commercial Manager involves proposing commercial strategy, responding to new opportunities and RfPs, proposing commercial strategy to respond to new opportunities and RfPs, preparing proposals, including mobilisation plans, financial assumptionsand letters/bid submissions.DESIRED:* Experience with costing within the architectural design field, i.e. being able to prepare fee schedules within bid submissions.* Experience negotiating fees for new projects.* Experience reviewing and negotiating design contracts.* Either come from an architecture background, i.e. started your career as an architect, or a commercial manager who has worked for similar design studios or architectural firms.* Strong IT skills re-Microsoft packages; Excel and Word.Point to note: You do not need to have ALL of the above in order to be considered.
