Job Description

Arthur are currently partnered with a specialty (re)insurer as they look to add a Reinsurance Technician to their dynamic and efficient Ceded Re team. This role will focus onsupporting the reinsurance team with all reinsurance operational and accountingprocesses.The role would see you:

  • Assisting with monthly, quarterly and annual recoverable claims balances collection and advice.
  • Preparation of monthly MI.
  • Reconciliation of monthly reports essential for cross-departmental use.
  • Processing of RI premiums and claims via the LORS system
  • Monitoring aging debt
The team also has significant overlap with the pre-placement process, offering the opportunity to get involved with pre-placement pricing and administration.Role Requirements & Skills
  • Experience in ceded reinsurance position is necessary. Ideally 1-2 years.
  • Detail oriented
  • Great communication skills
