  • Job duties and responsibilities:Working within the recruitment department, youll support the consultant on finding the best quality IT talent throughout the UK.This role would suit somebody who is a team player who thrives is a challenging working environment and likes the sound of working alongside a talented owner in a small start-up.Responsibilities include:
  • The initial role will be very much based resourcing candidates for the recruitment consultants. This will be speaking to existing and new candidates on a daily basis, understanding their preferences and matching them to any relevant vacancies, etc.
  • Secondly it will be to build relationships with these candidates, they are always useful to have relationships for referrals, colleagues looking for work etc.
  • From time to time we have to Headhunt candidates or gather names through various sources.
  • Database maintenance- this is very important as it contains all our information on clients, candidates etc.
  • Look after our web site, make sure it is kept up to date with new requirements.
  • General office duties - Typing CVs, compiling mail shots etc.
  • Interviewing candidates.
  • Screening applicants via telephone interviews
  • Maintaining communications with applicants
  • The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes and procedures
  • Competent in a range of IT systems and software
  • Ability to work with others to achieve objectives and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
  • Accuracy and ability to prioritise and organise own workload
