A Japanese insurance company is currently recruiting an Account Handler to work in their team in London. In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Manager of Global Services.Due to cultural understanding, experience of working at an Asian company is required.TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: Monday to FridaySALARY: Up to £38K plus bonus, depending on experienceSTART: ASAPLOCATION: Central LondonAccount Handler Main Responsibilities:• Obtain and issue quotations for both new and renewal business• Provide day-to-day servicing of the clients’ insurance programs• Effectively manage and respond with queries of changes in coverages and risks. • Manage and co-ordinate global insurance programs and liaise with the network as necessary• Effectively manage Credit Control processes• Prepare and issue policy documentation• Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage queries in relation to the allocated accounts• Awareness of compliance and regulatory issues• Regional Hub Operation• Quality Control and AssessmentAccount Handler Ideal Candidate:• Must have at least a year experience in commercial insurance • Work experience at an Asian company• Business level spoken English • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Strong organizational and planning skills• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills• Excellent time management skills• Understanding of Japanese language would be advantageous ** All applicants for the Account Handler must have the right to work in the UK as the Company is not able to offer visa support.
