Job Description

Job Title: 2nd Line EngineerLocation: City of London, EC2Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)We are currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Engineer to join our client in the City of London.The successful candidate will provide technical support to our clients users, responding to inquiries, resolving problems, and providing technical guidance. You will be responsible for the second line of support and will be expected to diagnose and troubleshoottechnical issues, as well as provide advice on software and hardware usage.Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users, responding to inquiries, resolving problems, and providing technical guidance
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Support software and hardware
  • Install, configure, and maintain various software and hardware applications
  • Monitor system performance and take corrective action as necessary
  • Develop, implement, and maintain technical policies and procedures
  • Prepare technical documentation
Technical Skills:
  • Maintaining company hardware: Windows,Mac, Laptop, PCs, Printers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Software Support
  • Knowledge of networking protocols
  • Provide onsite IT Desktop Support
